Demigods and what's to come in 2017...

Hello all...
Thank you to everyone who bought Titan Elite on its release day yesterday. It is now live on all platforms:

And signed paperbacks are available through my facebook page:

A little bit on where Titan Elite leaves the Demigod series...
Titan Elite is the end of Phoenyx's story but I am definitely going to dig into some of the other cast of characters for a novella or companion novel in the future. So many of them have great stories to tell but that is on the back burner and I won't be dipping my toes in fantasy for at least the next year.

My next release for 2017 will be "Exposure" a contemporary second chance romance. I wrote the first draft for NaNoWriMo last year and am so excited to be taking a step away from fantasy and trying my hand at this genre. It was such an emotional roller coaster writing this story and can't wait for you to read it.

Now this fella is in its early days. It's a bit gritty and is a love letter of sorts to the relationship and bond between sisters. How these two look out for each other and protect each other come hell or High Water. I don't anticipate this being out until 2018 but you never know when the muse will strike and take over my life.

Thank you all for your support and best of luck to all those participating in NaNoWriMo this month! I am bowing out this year due to release dates and a TON of beta work but I will be over here cheering you on!

Stuff & Things...

Good morning lovelies.
I am up early today, mainly because my kids were up early. Apparently, they didn't get the memo that summer holidays means sleeping in all day.
I've gotten all my notes back on Demigods #2: Titan Elite and am working my way through them as quickly as I can. Its shaping up nicely and I WILL hit publish that bugger this year. YAY!
I was going through a box of Demigod notes, as one does when they are procrastinating a 113k word beta read.

"Memories warm you up from the inside. But they also tear you apart."
-Haruki Murakami
I found an explanation of the plot and character motivations for book two with so much insight. Funny how the idea was so clear three years ago before I even became writing Phoenyx Rising.
Speaking of Phoenyx Rising... the eBook is on sale for 99cents on all platforms.
I hope you are reading some amazing books and soaking up some sunshine.

Teasers Galore!

I'm taking a break from rewrites on Demigods 2: Titan Elite. I've been working on some awesome teasers for Phoenyx Rising today.
Picking out great quotes is always fun. Now for the pimping of the teasers. :)

Phoenyx
They tell me I am a danger to the world,
a monster, a murderer.

Locked away for crimes I have no memory of committing.
I have no idea who I am.
Only who they want me to be.

Marcus
I will protect her, at all costs.
Even if it means erasing her past.
Everyone in my way is collateral damage.
I am in control.

Excerpt:

The Escape

"Do NOT leave this room, Phee. I swear to fuck if you try to run I will find you and I will compel you into submission once and for all. WATCH her! Do not let her leave this room!" He growls out through clenched teeth before turn his heel and walking out. The guard takes position in front of the door giving me a hard look. I almost laugh, if there's one thing I can do is distract guards. I walk up to him smiling. "You're not going to keep me locked up are you?" I question as I run my finger down the front of his shirt. His eyes go wide in panic before narrowing into a glare, damn; this is going to take some effort. I trail my finger lower over his belt buckle.
"Enough." He demands grabbing my wrist, I smile up at him, and I watch him watch my tongue as it slowly moves over my lips. He loosens his grip on my wrist and a hint of a smile plays on his face. Men are so easy. He backs me up into the desk. I reach back and pick up the first heavy thing I can get my hand around and bash it into the side of his face. He slumps to the ground, placing the now bloody paper weight back on the desk. I grab my bag and crack the door, peeking into the hall. I see another guard at each end of the hall. No way I'm getting out this way. I close the door and press against the window. It's at least a fifty foot drop to the ocean below. I don't give myself time to think about it I just throw a chair through the window and launch myself into the air and drop like a rock I to the cold ocean water.
